n the boyf ordered his fav cha soba.

din manage to finish up the 2nd cup of chawanmushi cos i was almost killed by the gastric pain tat acted up after i finished the main course... '~' how good it will be if human beings are born without a stomach... loL!!so i waited for the pain to subside before we left the eating place...
another motive for dining @ AMK is becos i wanna drink 'KOI' bubble tea!!! hohoho!!!
had read from 'The Supergirl' recently about the "best bubble tea in town" and wanted to buy a cup to try. But because KOI cafe has gt only a few branches, n that we never really got to places with KOI cafe, until last last week, i finally managed to grab hold our 1st cup @ marine parade when we went for cycling.
so i actually tried the chocolate milk tea ytd. N it's just a drink from heaven lah. haha!
Though i still prefer the normal milk tea which they serve.
Downside is that the tea is definitely more expensive as compared to Sweet Talk.
It is $2.40 per cup as compared to Sweet Talk's $1.20 - $1.50 per cup.But having said that, I'll very much conclude that I don't mind paying for quality. The pearls are awesome, slightly smaller than the usual Sweet Talk ones, but they are less gooey, more chewy and definitely better! And the serving size of the pearls beat Sweet Talk's hands down, for every sip u take, it will sure come along with a few pearls which pops into your mouth.
So now... I am just hoping that KOI cafe will open a branch that is nearer to my hse, if best, i dun mind that it replaces the Sweet Talk at the mrt station beside my home. =D
